If Democratic Hillary Clinton faced Republican Donald Trump in a hypothetical head-to-head general election Clinton would win – big.
That’s according to a new NBC News – Wall Street Journal poll.
The poll found Clinton would beat Trump 50 percent to 40 percent.
Respondents also picked Clinton over Texas Senator Ted Cruz, 48 percent to 45 percent.
However the poll found that if matched-up against Florida Senator Marco Rubio, Clinton would lose 45 percent to Rubio’s 48 percent.
Respondents also picked Dr. Ben Carson over Clinton by a hair, 47 percent to 46 percent.
The NBC – WSJ poll of 1,000 adults was conducted Dec. 6 through 9. It has a margin of error of +/- 3.36 percentage points.
