Work is on schedule for replacing the synthetic turf and track at the stadium at Corning-Painted Post High School.
That word came Wednesday from Corning-Painted Post School Superintendent Mike Ginalski.
He expects the project to be turned over to the school district on September 11th and fortunately the first home football game won’t be until the 18th.
The first home soccer game is the following day.
Ginalski said, “Everyone has expressed nothing but good things about the look of the turf and the design. It really upgrades the stadium significantly. The rest of the work that’s going on from the work at our middle school to our elementary schools has all been on time and is excellent.”
Work on the track around the playing field begins Thursday.
