New Yorkers will see a little more money in their paychecks. On Monday, the minimum wage will increase all across the state.
In Upstate New York, the hourly minimum wage will be $11,10 up from $10.40.
Fast food workers will earn an hourly wage of $12.75.
Tipped workers will earn between $7.50 and $9.25. The wage depends on the industry.
The minimum wage will increase 70 cents each year until all of New York State reaches the $15 minimum.
