PA man arrested for meth in the Town of Erwin

A Pennsylvania man was arrested on Friday, April 5 in the Town of Erwin after a methamphetamine investigation.

James B. Leitch, 44, of Downing, Pa. was arrested for Unlawful Manufacture of Methamphetamine in the 3rd Degree (class D felony) and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree (class A misdemeanor).   

Leitch was arraigned in the Steuben County Jail on April 6.

The investigation was conducted by members of the New York State Police Community Narcotics Enforcement Team (CNET), New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team (CCSERT) and Troop ”E” Uniform Force.
