A Canton Borough Police Officer has been charged after an alleged sexual relationship with a juvenile, according to Pennsylvania State Police in Towanda.

Joshua Robert Gleco, 27, has been charged with three counts of felony wiretap violation, four counts of felony sexual abuse of children, and one count of misdemeanor corruption of minors.

State Police said Gleco met the victim while on duty as a Canton Borough Police Officer.

Gleco then began an alleged inappropriate relationship with the victim.

Gleco’s smart-phone was taken for a forensic examination. State Police said they found images deemed to be child pornography, dozens of illegally recorded phone calls with local businesses, agencies, and people.

They also found sexually explicit recorded conversations with the alleged victim, along with photos of the two in inappropriate interactions.

Gleco is set to be arraigned in district court.
