An accident involving a car and a tractor trailer on I-86 east slows traffic to one lane Tuesday evening.
It happened around 6 p.m. between Chemung and Waverly.
As seen in the video, the car was almost completely flattened and stuck underneath the front wheels of a truck.
Our reporter on the scene says traffic was backed up for several miles.
No word yet tonight on any injuries of passengers involved in the crash.
And just further east on I-86 in Tioga County, another accident Tuesday night shut down the highway as State Police and emergency workers assessed the scene.
A viewer tells 18 News the crash happened near Tioga Downs Casino.
State Police in Owego confirm the roadway is back open though no further details are being released about the drivers or any injuries.
