Bath, N.Y. –
Bath Spirit of Christmas: The celebration of the Christmas season starts Friday (Dec. 4) at 6 p.m. at Pulteney Park in Bath. There will be events with Santa and Mrs. Claus, food and craft vendors, church nativity scenes and plenty of entertainment and live music. Fireworks will end the evening at 8:15 p.m.
Corning, N.Y. –
41st Annual Sparkle: Join Corning’s Gaffer District and the Steuben & Corning Centers from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday for Rehabilitation and Healthcare for the 41st annual culmination of the Crystal City Christmas Events Season, featuring fireworks, horse and wagon rides, shopping and dining promotions, outdoor entertainment and activities for the whole family.
Southport, N.Y. –
Southport Holiday Parade: The Town of Southport will hold its second annual parade Saturday starting at 4 p.m. The parade route will start on Pennsylvania Avenue and Personius Road in Pine City. The parade will go down Pennsylvania Avenue and end at the Southport Fire Department. Following the parade will be a lighting ceremony of Christmas Land behind the Southport Fire Department. You can even see Santa and his live reindeer too.
Wellsboro, Pa –
32nd Annual Dickens of a Christmas: Another big holiday event this weekend is the 32nd Annual Dickens of a Christmas in Wellsboro. Beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday volunteers take a step back in time, dress up, and set up street vendors to make Main Street look like an early Victorian marketplace. Seasonal performances happen all over town during the event. The annual tradition also offers horse rides, food tastings, craft shopping and more.
