William Mullaney named President of Corning Community College

The State University of New York Chancellor Kristina M. Johnson and the SUNY Board of Trustees have named Dr. William Mullaney the next President of Corning Community College.

His appointment is effective on July 1, 2019.

Dr. Mullaney served as Vice President of Academic Affairs at Bergen Community College in Paramus, NJ.

He previously served as Assistant to the Executive Vice Chancellor at the Maricopa Community Colleges District Office in Tempe, AZ.

Dr. Mullaney holds a doctorate in English from Tulane University; a master’s in literature from the University of California, San Diego; and a bachelor’s from the University of Virginia.
