Corning’s Gaffer District continues to provide a free visual display program to help local business owners boost holiday sales.
Meghan O’toole Tuazon, Visual Designer for Corning’s Gaffer District said the visual display program provides their service for any business to merchandise their windows for free throughout the year.
The windows are changed out five times a year seasonally.
“By making the display and working with the business owner we are trying to attract the customer from off the street and into the store and we not only provide the design we provide the props, the time and the planning and the storage,” said O’Toole Tuazon. “So it’s saving money, time, space for small businesses and all three of those things I think a small business would tell you, it’s very valuable.”
The team starts on November 1 and has to be done with all of the holiday-themed windows before the beginning of Thanksgiving weekend.
Their next installation will take place in January with the theme of romantic winter.
