An army of Ferraris take over Market Street

This year, the Finger Lakes region hosted the 55th annual Ferrari Meet. Ferraris of all different models were lined up on Market Street in downtown Corning 

This event is held in a new city every year and brings Ferrari owners from all over the U.S.. to one place to show off their luxury cars. 

All of the cars were there to be judged by the Ferrari Club of America with hopes of winning the grand prize; the Platino. All judging is in accordance with the International Advisory Council for the Preservation of the Ferrari Automobile.

Every driver starts with 100 points and are marked down a half point for every issue the judges find with the car. The score that is worthy of receiving the Platino is a 97 or higher.

On September 17th, the second part of the judging will take place at Watkins Glen International where the Ferrari owners will have to demonstrate that they can operate their vehicles safely on a professional track.
