An arrest has been made in the controversial Nazi poster case that arose over the weekend on the SUNY Purchase campus.
The suspect was a student and will be going through the student conduct process.
Campus officials have been working closely with the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office in pursuing the charge of Aggravated Harassment in the First Degree.
The case was brought to light when Nazi-related posters were being found scattered around different areas of the campus on Sunday.
“Messages of hate, while becoming more and more prevalent in our country, have no place on our campus and will be treated with the utmost severity,” said Officer in Charge and Vice President for Student Affairs Dennis Craig.
