The Big Flats Community Days (BFCD) is a non-profit organization that is kicking off its annual festival on Thursday, June 13. This event allows local organizations to raise funds while also bringing the community closer together.
The event will feature food, rides, entertainment and more at the park. Proceeds from the festival are returned to the community in the form of contributions to local fire and ambulance companies, scout troops, schools, community projects, scholarships, and more that is determined by the BFCD.
The BFCD has held this annual event at the Big Flats Community Park for over 55 years. It was founded in 1954 and has been made possible by many improvements to enhance the communities experience each year.
The event is made possible with the help and support from: Andrew Sperr Memorial Park, town banners and American flags, new surface for Cinderella parks, lighting for the walking path at Community Park, landscaping for the Big Flats Community Center, as well for land parks, playground equipment, fencing, and picnic pavilions.
The Big Flats Community Days festival will be held from June 13-15.
