LINDLEY, N.Y. (WETM) – The New York State Department of Transportation announced today that maintenance and repair work will begin September 6, 2019, on the bridges carrying Interstate 99 over Glendening Creek, south of Exit 6, in the Town of Lindley.
Work will include structural lifting and replacing of bearings, removing and replacing concrete on abutments, as well as minor drainage work.
This work is expected to last approximately seven weeks and is weather dependent.
During this time, long-term stationary single lane closures of Interstate 99 northbound and southbound will be utilized at the structures for access and structural lifting operations.
