Broncos Dominate Panthers in Super Bowl 50

Local News

The Denver Broncos are your Super Bowl 50 champions. The Broncos dominated the Carolina Panthers 24 to 10 Sunday, to win the Vince Lombardi Trophy.

Hundreds of fans took to the streets of downtown Denver to celebrate the victory. Traffic was backed up for miles and dozens of police officers were on patrol to keep the celebration under control. But the Broncos fans showed their excitement by cheering and even running in the street to high five drivers.

In the midst of the confetti shower and hugs and cheers, the lingering question was quarterback Peyton Manning’s possible retirement. “The Sheriff” did not say for sure if this was his last rodeo or not but he did enjoy the night’s festivities and said he soaked everything in. This was Manning’s second Super Bowl title and the third in broncos’ team history.

After an injury filled season full of ups and downs for Manning, MVP Von Miller and the defense carried Denver to the promise land. Officials said the victory parade will be held at Union Station on Tuesday.
