A police car is destroyed after a head-on crash this morning, but the officer driving it is out alive and unharmed.
The front of the Tunkhannock Township Police sustained all the damage after a Chevy Silverado hit it head-on.
Police said the driver of the Silverado had alcohol in his system as he drove south on State Route 92.
The officer was responding to a case of runaway juveniles before the Silverado crashed into his car.
Police said the car’s emergency lights were on. The other driver was also unharmed.
Pennsylvania State Police is investigating the crash and arrested the driver of the Silverado.
