Students in Corning Community College’s chapter of the National Success and Leadership Society, or NSLS, marked part one of a four part web broadcast series to help them learn success tips from some of the biggest names in show business.
Wednesday night, students had the chance to hear from FOX’s NFL halftime and postgame show host Curt Menefee.
During that time, students heard Menefee’s life story and his rise to fame. Students, locally and all over the world, also had the chance to ask Menefee specific questions on leadership and success.
“Students get to take away different leadership skills that they wouldn’t otherwise be able to have,” NSLS President Austin Lafever said. “And the questions that they ask can be personal questions to the speakers so they really get to learn what they want to learn.”
Other big names the NSLS will hear from include Comedy Central’s Trevor Noah, CNN’s Anderson Cooper, and NBC’s Hoda Kotb.
