Concerned Neighbor’s Call Leads to Drug Bust

A concerned neighbor’s call eventually leads to a drug bust in West Elmira.

Just before 2 a.m. on January 14th, West Elmira Police responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle parked on Evergreen Avenue. 

When police arrived, they arrested Autumn Diorio, 22, and Danial Sargent, 26, both from Horseheads.

Police confiscated methamphetamine, LSD, roughly 30 hypodermic needs, and drug paraphernalia. 

Both have been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. 

They were arraigned in the Town of Elmira Court and remanded to the Chemung County Jail on $10,000 cash bail, $20,000 property bond.
