Corning working hard on pool maintenance

Local News

The City of Corning Parks and Recreation Department has been working for the past month to prepare Denison and Stewart Park Pools for the summer swimming season.

The pools require yearly maintenance to keep them operational and safe for public use.

The City of Corning plans on opening the swimming pools towards the end of June or first week in July depending on how well the maintenance improvements take.

“The swimming pools are a great amenity to the residents of Corning and the surrounding areas. The pools are a very popular destination throughout the summer and the Parks Department takes great pride in getting the pools ready for the community to enjoy throughout the summer.” Alex Hamilton, the Director of Recreation says.
