The Bath Fire Department reported to a structure fire on Ash Street in the Village of Bath early Friday morning.
The Bath Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched at 4:29 a.m. after the owner of a mobile home called reporting a fire.
The mobile home sustained heavy fire and smoke damage, but the owner and her pet cats were able to escape unharmed.
The Bath Village Police, Bath Fire Department were on the scene early, and units from Hammondsport, Savona, and Kanona were also called to the scene for manpower.
The Steuben County Fire Investigation Team was requested to the scene to determine the cause of the fire which is currently still under investigation.
The Red Cross is assisting the homeowner.
