According to CNBC, women’s clothing store Dressbarn is going out of business and plans to close all 650 of its stores. As of now, there is no exact timeline in place for when the stores will close, but it will not happen immediately.
In a press release, Steven Taylor, the CFO of Dressbarn said, “Dressbarn chain has not been operating at an acceptable level of profitability in today’s retail environment.”
Customers will still be able to shop at Dressbarn online and employees will be updated as decisions are made and dates are given for closures of specific locations. Dressbarn has been around for over 50 years.
