Elmira man indicted on drug, weapons charges

An Elmira man is facing multiple charges after being indicted by a Chemung County grand jury.

Donald Taylor has been indicted for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.

According to court documents, Taylor possessed, with the intent to sell, cocaine on June 19, 2019, in the city of Elmira.

Taylor allegedly possessed a Bersa .380 semi-automatic pistol, that court documents indicate was unlawfully possessed.
