The Corning-Painted Post High School auditorium was full of people eager to learn what to do when in a state of emergency.
The Citizen Preparedness Program,sponsored by the New York State Department of Homeland Security is a free program that typically takes place every 2 to 3 years.
Why? Anything could happen any time anywhere and its always better to take precautions. Given the times we currently live in, especially with all this flooding, it’s important to know what to do.
These trainings are all important, because the more prepared you are, the less stress you put on emergency first responders.
