The Clemens Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Elmira is accustomed to presenting world-class performances in their historic Powers Theatre.
Although this Saturday, April 27, the stage and all the intriguing spaces the public rarely gets the chance to see will be the backdrop for the Clemens Center’s largest fundraising event for 2019.
The Clemens Center Gala will give hundreds of supporters the unique opportunity to delight, explore, and celebrate throughout the main stage and hidden spaces of the historic theater.
Backstage Pass will be in full swing from 6-9PM throughout the Clemens Center in Downtown Elmira.
“More than a quarter of our budget comes from fundraising,” noted Karen Cromer, Executive Director of the Clemens Center. “This single event will be instrumental to our fiscal well-being and, therefore, to our overall success as the region’s premier performing arts center,” Cromer continued.
Tickets to Backstage Pass are $75 per person, which includes exceptional cuisine from Hill Top Inn. Also, your ticket provides you with wine, beer, and spirits tastings from beverage producers throughout Finger Lakes Wine Country.
Live music will be played from Found Time, The John Manfredi Trio, and Past and Present DJ. Lindsay Ellen Photography and Kickin’ Pics.
Also, a live and silent auction will give everyone the chance to bring home something special in support of the Clemens Center for the Performing Arts.
