Flood repair project to begin on Route 187 in Wilmot Township

A flood repair project on Route 187 between Oak Hill Road and Quicks Bend Road in Wilmot Township, Bradford County, is scheduled to start next week.

This project includes embankment stabilization and roadway reconstruction.

A detour will be in place beginning Monday morning using Route 2010 (Wyalusing New Albany Road), Route 2007 (Wilmot Road) and Route 2009 (Ambrosious Road).

The project is expected to be completed in late October. Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc., is the prime contractor on this $1.25 million project.
