Frontal boundary nearly stationary over the region continues to impact the region through most of the workweek. Boundary to our south Monday night may bring a few stray showers to the Twin Tiers. Best chances for rainfall for those in the Northern Tier. Otherwise, mainly cloudy skies and lows near 60 degrees.

Frontal boundary to our south lifts slightly north into early Tuesday bringing showers along with it. Again, best chances for rainfall in the Northern Tier. Chance for showers continues into the afternoon and evening as another wave passes. Isolated thunderstorms also possible as this wave interacts with a slightly unstable air mass. Nothing strong to severe expected but rainfall amounts will need to be monitored. Southern Tier expecting under 0.25 for rainfall while the Northern Tier may see closer to 1″ throughout the day. Highs Tuesday into the low to mid 70s. Chance for light showers Tuesday night and lows near 60 degrees.

Chance for showers and even a few thunderstorms continues Wednesday, then becoming likely for us Thursday. The area may see an additional 1″ of rainfall Thursday as a wave of low pressure passes through. Highs for Wednesday and Thursday both into the 70s. Showers may linger for us Friday before dry air begins to work into the region. Highs Friday into the 70s.
