Mild start to the work day as temperatures this morning are already in the upper 60s. Patchy fog will begin to lift through the morning hours. Light showers and an isolated thunderstorm is possible this afternoon. Temperatures will warm into the mid and upper 80s today and we are also going to have to deal with that humidity. Showers will linger into the early evening hours before we clear some cloud cover out. Patchy fog will develop in valley areas by early Thursday morning. Lows tonight staying in the low 60s.

The 4th of July will start off dry, but showers and thunderstorm chances increase by late day. Along with this temperatures will be hot and humid. Highs will be in the upper 80s, close to 90, and heat indices will be in the low 90s. If you have any outdoor activities plans just remain hydrated and keep your eye on the sky.

Showers and thunderstorms remain in the forecast thru the first half of the weekend along with the humidity. Showers and thunderstorms will come to an end during the evening and overnight hours Saturday. High pressure will begin to build over our region on Sunday. This means comfortable temperatures, dry weather, and plenty of sun!
