High pressure still in control through Wednesday night. Dry weather continues, but with increasing cloud cover late. Lows Wednesday night near 20 degrees.
High pressure moving east off the coast, and the next weather-maker moves in Thursday. Low pressure developing in the south pushes north into the region through the day with increasing cloud cover. Strong southerly flow continues to usher in the warmer than average temperatures. Highs Thursday in the mid to upper 40s. Chance for rain increases Thursday night, and heavy rain likely through the overnight. Lows Thursday night near 40 degrees.
Occasional rain continues for Friday and could be heavy at times. Total rainfall from Thursday night through Friday of 1-2″ possible, which may cause poor drainage issues.
