SATURDAY SUNSET: 7:39 PM
We’ve done it – we finally hit 70 degrees for the first time this year! Temperatures topped out around 70 across the region, but didn’t see too much of the sun as we got later into the afternoon. Even warmer conditions are in store for the first half of the work week, but as the saying goes, “April showers bring May flowers.”
A front approaching from the south will arrive tonight, bringing rain throughout the Twin Tiers. These showers will last throughout the overnight hours and into Monday, but temperatures will reach into the low 70s for the start of your work week! Chances of showers will continue throughout the next few days, and temperatures will begin to trend cooler as well.
Temperatures will return closer to average by Wednesday, with highs returning to the low 50s. Saturday brings the next chance of sunshine as well.
