FRIDAY SUNSET: 8:23 PM

We wake up this morning with showers lingering as we track a frontal system approaching the Twin Tiers. Showers will become likely around 7-8 am and continue into early afternoon. This cold front will pass early in the day with northwest winds 10-20 mph into the afternoon. Once this front passes we will see some late day clearing as dry air begins to works it way back into the area. Highs today will be right near average in the low 70s. Tonight we see partly cloudy skies with mainly dry conditions, temperatures falling into the low to mid-40s.

Saturday is looking mostly dry, but we do watch a very weak disturbance move through that could bring a slight chance for a shower. Otherwise, we see some sunshine return and a cooler start to your weekend. Highs on Saturday in the upper 60s. Sunday we watch a warm front bring the risk for showers and thunderstorms into the evening with temperatures well above average. This chance for some showers and storms lingers into Monday along with warmer conditions. Highs on Sunday in the low 80s, Monday we will be into the upper 70s.

Mid next week is looking on the drier side, with chances for sunshine along with near average temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s.
