Pleasant conditions were abound across the Twin Tiers this afternoon, with plenty of sunshine and highs in the low 70s for most of the area. Hopefully you got any outdoor chores or errands done today, because an approaching front will make for some very messy conditions tomorrow.
Starting around 1:00 p.m. tomorrow, showers and thunderstorms will begin rolling into the area, with some of those storms possibly turning severe. The National Weather Service has placed nearly all of the Twin Tiers under a hazardous weather outlook, so it’ll probably be best to avoid the roads tomorrow if you can! Potential hazards include heavy rain, damaging winds and hail and the possibility of a tornado can’t be ruled out.
Storms will continue through Monday and cooler temperatures back into the mid 60s are in store for Tuesday.
