MONDAY SUNSET: 8:26 PM
Showers and thunderstorms linger this morning and through this early afternoon as we track a cold front slowly moving its way through the region. We should see some pokes of sunshine through the afternoon with temperatures very warm once again, highs reaching into the upper 70s close to 80 degrees. We remain mostly cloudy into tonight as winds being to turn out of the northwest 5-15 mph, breezy at times with gusts up to 30 mph possible through today and into tonight. Overnight lows falling back to near average in the low to mid-40s.
High pressure begins to move back in for Tuesday and Wednesday which means sunny skies and dry conditions return! We are much cooler though, and closer to average both these days with highs reaching the mid to upper 60s. We track another weak system moving in for Thursday, bringing cloud cover and shower chances.
We end the week warmer once again with temperatures in the 70s close to 80 degrees but shower and storm chances arrive once again, timing on sunshine for your weekend forecast is still uncertain and will have to be fine-tuned as we get closer. Right now though, Sunday looks dry with sunshine returning and temperatures in the 70s.
