Happy Tuesday Twin Tiers! High-pressure continues to build in this morning, leading to dry and quiet conditions for the next few days. Mostly sunny skies will dominate today with temperatures slightly cooler than the last few days, but closer to average in the mid to upper 60s. Tonight we stay dry, quiet and mostly clear, allowing temperatures to fall back into the lower 40s.
Wednesday we start your morning with sunshine, remaining dry for the daylight hours as we track clouds continuously increase through the afternoon. This is ahead of our next weaker system that will impact the area into Thursday. Otherwise, we track slightly warmer temperatures for midweek, near the low 70s. Thursday we track partly sunny conditions with the chance for showers and scattered storms. The warming trend looks to continue with highs back into the upper 70s close to 80 degrees.
The weekend forecast right now is looking on the unsettled side, with the chance for showers on Saturday and storms on Sunday, but it looks like there will be more dry times than rainy times, even the chance to see some sunshine.
