We track another disturbance for your Thursday that will yet again bring the chance for showers and thunderstorms across the Twin Tiers for this afternoon. Heading out the door this morning we are mainly dry, with temperatures in the 50s and 60s. Highs this afternoon will be right near average in the mid 70s. Cloud cover will hold on for the most part, with a few pokes of sunshine through the day, we stay mostly cloudy. The best chance to see showers and storms is after the noon hour through this evening. These storms are not looking to be as severe or strong as precious days, but rainfall could be heavy at times and could lead to some localized flooding as we have seen a lot of rain in the last few days.
Tonight we see showers and storms linger, as we begin to dry out late overnight. Lows will be close to 50 degrees. As we move into Friday, hight pressure moves in, a few very spotty showers may linger before 8 am, but then we see clouds decreasing at a rapid pase giving way to partly to mostly sunny skies for the afternoon. Dry conditions continue into the afternoon and evening with comfortable temperatures in the low to mid-70s.
Saturday a few showers look to pop up, not a washout however with temperatures in the mid to upper 70s. Clouds build into Saturday evening and Sunday, with cooler temperatures Sunday and Monday, in the upper 60s. Showers look to linger until early next week before sunshine returns once again.
