A few showers linger early this morning before high pressure builds in bringing sunshine back to the Twin Tiers for our Friday! A few isolated showers are possible mid-day in portions of the Northern Tiers, otherwise, clouds continue to decrease with high temperatures in the low to mid 70s. Tonight we stay dry with mostly clear skies becoming partly cloudy with low temperatures falling close to 50 degrees once again.
Saturday we start off mainly dry with some sunshine, but showers arrive late morning and afternoon with heavier showers and even a rumble of thunder possible. It is not looking like a complete washout, I think we will remain on the dry side of things most of Saturday. The best timing for any storms looks to be Saturday afternoon through very early Sunday. Highs Saturday in the upper 70s, Sunday in the low 70s.
Heading into next week we cool off a bit, highs Monday near 60, before we climb back into the 70s midweek with shower chances, but more sunshine in store for our workweek forecast.
