After a beautiful weekend of sunshine and 80 degrees weather, mother nature brings back the clouds and cooler conditions for the start of your workweek. Mostly cloudy today as we track showers and storms likely through late morning and through the afternoon. High temperatures will be below average, much cooler compared to this weekend, only topping off near 70 degrees. Tonight the shower and storm chance lingers before drying out late before we track some sunshine returning. Overnight, temperatures fall into the mid 50s. Winds remain out of the south 5-10 mph. Rainfall totals with this system looking to range between 0.50-0.75“ with higher amounts in any downpours or thunderstorms.
Tuesday high pressure builds back in, which means sunshine returns but temperatures stay on the cooler side, only in the low 70s for highs Tuesday, slightly warmer on Wednesday in the mid 70s. Sunshine continues into Wednesday before another system moves in for Thursday. Showers and even a thunderstorm are possible into Thursday before we dry out yet again into Friday.
This upcoming weekend currently looks on the dry side with temperatures at or above average. But as always, once we get six to seven days out, things can always change.
