Chance for showers continues Monday night as a frontal system continues to impact the region. Isolated showers for the evening, then scattered showers and a few rumbles of thunder after dark with a cold front moving into the region. Rainfall through the overnight staying under 0.50″, really no concerns for any flooding. Still, keeping an eye on small streams and creeks along with areas prone to poor drainage. Patchy fog and lows in the mid to upper 50s.
Cold front passes by early Tuesday morning. Lingering showers taper early, then decreasing clouds into the afternoon as high pressure builds into the region. Gusty northwest winds of 25+ mph through the afternoon ushering in dry air. Highs Tuesday near 70 degrees and dew point temperatures near 50 degrees making for a comfortable afternoon. Mainly clear overnight with lows into the 40s.
High pressure holds for Wednesday keeping sunshine and dry weather with us. Southerly winds helping temperatures reach into the mid to upper 70s for a high. The region between two low pressure systems as we end the workweek. Chance for showers and thunderstorms returns Thursday, and chance for showers continues for Friday. Highs both days near 70 degrees.
