AVERAGE HIGH FOR JUNE 11TH: 77°
AVERAGE LOW FOR JUNE 11TH: 52°
TUESDAY SUNRISE: 5:31 AM
TUESDAY SUNSET: 8:43 PM
High pressure building into the region leads to mainly clear skies for Tuesday night. Limited to no cloud cover, light winds, and soil moisture sets the stage for valley fog development. Also, favorable conditions overnight for radiational cooling. Lows Tuesday night in the low to mid 40s, slightly below average for lows this time of the year.
High pressure still in control of our weather Wednesday, but moving east off the coast throughout the day. Sunshine continues into the afternoon, then increasing clouds late day as our next weather-maker approaches. Winds turning to out of the south, helping temperatures into the mid to upper 70s for the afternoon. Dew points still near 50 degrees, so warm but feeling comfortable. Mostly cloudy Wednesday night and lows into the 50s.
Low pressure impacting the region starting Thursday. Chance for showers increases into the day. A few rumbles of thunder possible, but nothing strong to severe expected due to limited instability with plenty of clouds and cooler temperatures. Rainfall amounts staying under 1″, so really no flooding concerns. Highs Thursday in the mid to upper 60s. Low pressure slowly moves out through Friday with lingering showers still possible. High for Friday near 70 degrees. Saturday looks to stay dry, but can’t rule out a stray shower the farther north you go. Highs Saturday near 80 degrees. Chance for showers and thunderstorms returns Sunday with highs near 80 degrees.
