AVERAGE HIGH FOR JUNE 12TH: 77°
AVERAGE LOW FOR JUNE 12TH: 52°
WEDNESDAY SUNRISE: 5:31 AM
WEDNESDAY SUNSET: 8:43 PM
High pressure slowly moves towards the east today, keeping us dry and with plenty of sunshine for most of the afternoon. Clouds do, however being to increase late afternoon as our next weather maker moves towards the region. Winds turn out of the south, on the light side this afternoon 5-10 mph. Otherwise, high temperatures today will be slightly warmer and closer to average in the mid to upper 70s. Dew points remain in the low 50s, which means we will still be feeling comfortable outside.
Tonight we track mainly dry conditions, but skies becoming overcast. Showers may enter once we get past the midnight hour, but the majority of the rainfall will hold off until Thursday morning. Overnight lows will be right near 50 degrees.
Thursday, low pressure moves into the Twin Tiers bringing with it the chance for showers and even a stray thunderstorm possible. Rainfall from the system as a whole looks to stay under an inch so flooding does not look to be a major concern. Overall we look to stay mostly cloudy and rainy into Thursday afternoon and evening. High temperatures will be noticeably chilly, only topping off in the mid 60s. A few showers linger early Friday with partly sunny skies. Highs on Friday closer to 70 degrees but still chilly.
The weekend forecast is looking a bit unsettled, with the chance for showers late Saturday and remaining on Sunday. High temperatures both Saturday and Sunday will be closer to average in the upper 70s lose to 80 degrees.
