AVERAGE LOW FOR JUNE 13TH: 52°

We wake up Thursday morning to showers entering the region and cooler conditions. If you are headed out you will want to grab the rain gear as rain chances look to linger all day and into the evening hours. Even a few rumbles of thunder are possible as we get towards the afternoon along with a heavier shower at times. We remain mostly cloudy with temperature son the cooler side, only reaching the low to mid 60s. Rainfall totals look to stay at or less than a half an inch, thus no flooding concerns with this system.
Tonight the shower chance remains along with temperatures near average, near 50 degrees for overnight lows. Low pressure begins to move out once we get into Friday, showers still linger for the first half of your day, however. High temperatures on Friday will be closer to 70 degrees with winds out of the west that could be gusty at times. Gusts of over 30 mph are possible.
This weekend is looking unsettled, but I do think Saturday will remain on the dry side. Showers may enter the region towards late afternoon and evening but any outdoor plans should be okay in the morning and early afternoon. Temperatures will begin to warm back up this weekend as well, in the upper 70s for Saturday and close to 80 for Fathers Day. More shower and storm chances arrive for Sunday however, so any outdoor plans with dad are not looking promising – unless you enjoy being outside in the rain!
