Low pressure over the Great Lakes continues to bring a chance for showers Thursday evening through the overnight. Limited instability early, so a few rumbles of thunder possible for the evening. Light showers may follow through the overnight along with cloudy skies and patchy fog. Lows Thursday night near 50 degrees.
Showers may linger for early Friday as low pressure is slow to move out. The biggest concern will be gusty winds, though. Winds out of the west with gusts over 35 mph possible for the afternoon. This is also as high pressure builds in from the south, which will lead to decreasing cloud cover. Most staying dry for the afternoon with highs near 70 degrees. Intervals of clouds overnight and lows near 50 degrees.
Next front approaches the region Saturday bringing increasing cloud cover into the afternoon. A few showers possible, but better chances for rainfall during the overnight. Gusty southwest winds pushing temperatures into the mid to upper 70s for highs Saturday. Chance for showers increases into the overnight as the frontal boundary moves through. Boundary stall on Sunday keeping the chance for showers along with thunderstorms as some instability will be present. Highs for Sunday into the mid to upper 70s.
