Areal Flood Advisory in effect in Bradford County, Pa until 10:45 am.
A stationary frontal boundary remains over the region today and into most of the week ahead. This looks to bring the risk for showers and storms for Tuesday. With the frontal boundary moving slightly towards the north, the risk for showers and storms increases along it. The best chance for any rainfall will be in the Northern Tier. Rainfall totals will be something we need to keep an eye on if any storms develop. The Southern Tier looks to receive at or below 0.25“ of rainfall, with the Northern Tier up to 1.0“ possible. Temperatures today will be near average in the upper 70s.
Tonight showers linger with mostly cloudy skies and patchy fog developing. Lows stay on the warm side, only falling into the upper 50s close to 60 degrees. The dreary and storms pattern hold on tight into midweek with showers and storms possible Wednesday. Thursday we track an area of low-pressure travel along this frontal boundary which will make rainfall likely into the afternoon.
Showers look to linger early Friday before we stay to dry out with temperatures remaining in the 70s. The upcoming weekend forecast looks dry and sunny – but things could change as we get closer.
