Flash Flood Watch in effect for the Northern Tier through late Thursday night
Low pressure with a cold front traveling along a nearly stationary frontal boundary brings heavy rainfall for Thursday. Thunderstorms also the case producing gusty winds. The threat for severe thunderstorms comes to an end for the evening but showers will linger through late. Additional rainfall for Thursday night under 0.50″, but localized higher amounts can’t be completely ruled out. Areas seeing the highest amounts in the Northern Tier, which has already seen high rainfall over the last few days. Areas of fog develop and lows near 60 degrees.
Low pressure moves off the coast Friday. Showers may linger, especially early in the day, but gusty northwest winds over 20 mph usher in dry air through the day. Highs Friday into the low 70s and dew point temperatures dropping into the 50s. Feeling warm and less humid compared to the last few days. Dry for Friday night with lows near 50 degrees.
High pressure in control of our weather this weekend. Sunshine and dry weather for Saturday with highs into the 70s. Increasing clouds Sunday but remaining dry. Highs Sunday near 80 degrees.
