AVERAGE HIGH FOR JUNE 25TH: 81°

AVERAGE LOW FOR JUNE 25TH: 56°

TUESDAY SUNRISE: 5:32 AM

TUESDAY SUNSET: 8:47 PM

A weak ridge of high pressure decreases our cloud cover into Tuesday night. Dry overnight with light winds and patchy valley fog possible. Lows Tuesday night in the mid to upper 50s.

Sunshine to start Wednesday, then increasing clouds into the afternoon. This is as a weak wave moves into the region and brings a chance for showers and thunderstorms late afternoon and evening. Storm Prediction Center keeps the Twin Tiers in a Marginal Risk (1 out of 5, 5 being the highest) for strong to severe thunderstorm development with the biggest threat being gusty winds. Average rainfall staying under 0.25″, but isolated higher amounts possible in any strong to severe thunderstorm that may develop. Breezy southwesterly winds ushering in the warmth and moisture with highs in the mid to upper 80s and dew points into the 60s. Drying out Wednesday night with decreasing clouds. Lows Wednesday night near 60 degrees.

Thursday looks to be mainly dry, but still can’t rule out an isolated shower and thunderstorm late day. Highs Thursday in the low to mid 80s. Unsettled weather continues Friday and for the weekend as multiple disturbances pass through the region. Chance for showers and thunderstorms continues, along with the heat and humidity. Highs Friday and for the weekend into the 80s.
