Sunny skies in store for the Twin Tiers today! Temperatures starting the day in the low-mid 50s but once the sun comes out, the warming will begin! Highs today in the low-mid 80s with sunny skies for the first half of the day. Clouds increasing this afternoon with the approaching system. Lows tonight should drop down to the mid 60s with mostly cloudy skies.
Tomorrow is the beginning of what will be two days of rain threats. A low pressure system from north of the Great Lakes is going to drive a cold front that will bring us some rain and thunderstorm chances in the afternoon tomorrow. Highs are hampered by the increased cloud cover with temps in the low-mid 70s. Tomorrow night temperatures in the overnight hours will drop to the mid 50s.
The cold front passes early morning Tuesday preventing out temperatures from getting much higher than the mid 70s. More rain chances Tuesday morning as the system moves through the area. We get a short break from the rain on Wednesday, however more rain Thursday and Friday.
