A beautiful weekend capped off by a beautiful Sunday evening, unfortunately we begin the work week with shower and thunderstorm chances. A low pressure system moving east just north of the Great Lakes is driving a cold front that will move through the region tomorrow. With that cold front comes showers and thunderstorm chances, high chances at that. It will also hinder our temperatures from getting much higher than the lower 70s for much of the early week.
Showers will linger Tuesday morning but will clear out as the day progresses. Mostly cloudy skies expected Tuesday with temperatures remaining in the low-mid 70s. Tuesday night with the decreased cloud cover in the overnight hours will hit a low in the low-mid 50s.
Wednesday we get a short break from the rain, and we warm up slightly into the mid-upper 70s. Mostly sunny skies could allow temperatures to approach the lower 80s, however it is more likely to stay in the 70s. As the week goes on, we see more rain chances on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Make sure your umbrellas are in proper working condition.
