MONDAY SUNRISE: 5:44 AM
MONDAY SUNSET: 8:42 PM
High pressure for the start of the workweek keeping us dry through Monday night. Mostly clear evening, then increasing mid and high level clouds late. Depending on where the clouds set up, valley fog is possible overnight. Lows Monday night near 60 degrees.
High pressure moves east early Tuesday and a warm front moves into the region during the afternoon. Southwest winds ushering in the heat and moisture. High Tuesday into the mid to upper 80s and dew point temperatures near 70 degrees, so feeling hot and humid. Some instability present for the afternoon so there is a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Nothing strong to severe expected but brief downpours are possible, though. Chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms Tuesday night and lows in the mid to upper 60s.
Tropical moisture leftover from Barry moves into the region for Wednesday and Thursday. Showers and thunderstorms becoming likely with plenty of moisture available to tap into. Wednesday along with Thursday will be the days to watch for any isolated flash flooding. Highs both days into the 80s, and dew point temperatures in the low to mid 70s. Next concern will be increasing heat Friday and for the weekend when highs are forecasted to be 90 degrees and above. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are also possible Friday and for the weekend.
