Tropical moisture over the region Wednesday. Early morning showers possible, mainly Southern Tier and north. Then, showers and thunderstorms becoming likely throughout the Twin Tiers into the afternoon. With a moist air mass over the region, there will be plenty of moisture for thunderstorms to tap into. Rainfall amounts through the day of 1-2″ possible. Isolated flash flooding is a possibility, especially in the afternoon through evening. Highs Wednesday near 80 degrees and dew point temperatures in the low to mid 70s. Showers and thunderstorms linger Wednesday night and lows in the mid to upper 60s.
