WEDNESDAY SUNRISE: 5:36 AM
WEDNESDAY SUNSET: 8:47 PM
Rainfall tapers early Wednesday night with partial clearing for late. Enough moisture still available for fog development. Lows Wednesday night near 60 degrees.
A frontal boundary continues to impact the region for the holiday. This boundary along with afternoon heating brings a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Nothing strong to severe expected, but may need to watch any isolated slow moving showers or thunderstorms. Average rainfall staying under 0.50″, but isolated higher amounts also possible. Southerly winds ushering in the heat and moisture. Highs close to 90 degrees and dew points temperatures close to 70 degrees. Isolated showers may linger into the overnight, but shouldn’t make an impact for any fireworks. Lows Thursday night near 70 degrees.
Surface front Friday again triggering some showers and thunderstorms late day. Highs Friday into the mid to upper 80s. Front moves through Saturday with a little more force bringing more showers and thunderstorms to the Twin Tiers. Highs Saturday into the 80s. High pressure provides relief by Sunday bringing a drier air mass over the region. This will put an end to rainfall and give us some sunshine. Highs Sunday near 80 degrees. Dry start for early next week with sunshine and highs near 80 degrees.
