Hardinge Incorporated, a leading international provider of advanced metal-cutting solutions and accessories based in Elmira, announced that the board of directors has appointed a new chief executive officer

Charles P. Dougherty will be the new President and CEO of the company. He succeeds Richard L. Simmons, who is leaving the company after 30 years.
