The first official day of the fall season is in just a few days.
Corning’s Gaffer District is already kicking off the season’s festivities with the annual Harvest Festival.
Market Street was closed to traffic for Harvest Saturday.
The annual event makes room for local food and craft vendors, children’s activities and free music by local artists.
This year’s event also featured a soup off, pie contest and scavenger hunt.
Harvest is a way to showcase what the Crystal City has to offer for the fall season.
